Beowulf Farm has something to offer you. Our goal is to help riders of all disciplines safely learn to ride properly in order to reach their individual goals.
Karin MacMillan, Owner, and April Ray, Beowulf Farm Equestrian Centre Manager, are pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Kellner as Manager, Beowulf Farm Breeding Program and Trainer. ![]() Jessica is a Competition, Breed and Horse Show Judge in Germany and was a member of the German Commission for certifying breed judges. For the past eight years, Jessica has worked with the German Equestrian Federation - Department of Breeding, and managed, among other things, the presentation of German Horse Breeding at the 2006 World Equestrian Championships. Before this, she competed in dressage and schooled horses to the ‘M’ or fourth level dressage and up to 1.2 metres in jumping. Jessica had the opportunity to train with many internationally successful riders at the German Equestrian Performance Centre, including her long-time trainer, a member of the German National Eventing Team who recently competed at the 2006 World Equestrian Championships in Aachen. Jessica is a registered Trainer in Germany, and has taught students from children through adults, from beginner to advanced and has been involved in the starting and training of young horses. She has an advanced degree in Agricultural Sciences and Engineering Studies, with a Major in Horse Breeding and Management. At Beowulf Farm, Jessica will assume responsibility as a Dressage and Jump Trainer and offer her services as a Horse Trainer, working together with April Ray, to support the development of riders and horses of all ages and training levels. Jessica will also develop a small, high-quality breeding program for Beowulf Farm, beginning with a program to see our fabulous Hanoverian mare, Dondula, in foal and expanding to several other mares in both the dressage and jumping disciplines, recently purchased by Beowulf Farm in Germany. In addition, Jessica will be working with April Ray in key areas, such as field management with a view to maximizing the benefits of equine turn-out for all of the horses stabling at Beowulf Farm, and providing alternate farm management when April is showing and competing. Beowulf Farm continues to be well served by a team of key professional trainers, including April Ray, Ann Woelfle Bater and Sonja Seyfort. Please join us in giving a very warm welcome to Jessica Kellner and her equine partner when they arrive in mid-March 2007. JESSICA CAN BE REACHED AT:
