Felicia Francesca is a 2004 Westfalian mare by Fuerst Piccolo out of a Maraschino mother. Her sire is famous Fuerst Piccolo.
Fuerst Piccolo is a one of the most desired stallions at the Northrhine-Westfalen State Stud. He had everybody talking about his offspring at many shows and auctions over the past seasons. The Fidermark son has produced top foals for various auctions and set a new record for the top selling foal. The winner of the German foal Championship was a Fuerst Piccolo daughter. His older offspring are also on top. Fuerst Piccolo daughters regularly march into one of the final placings at the elite mare shows. Also, at many of the mare tests, Fuerst Piccolo daughters finish on top. Due to the success of his offspring and his own show success, the FN commission values this stallion’s overall ranking in breeding at 144 points. With this score, Fuerst Piccolo belongs among the best of Dressage producers in Germany. He has positioned himself well in this scene by already producing 7 approved stallions and 19 state’s premium mares. Fuerst Piccolo was a premium stallion at his approval and easily won his Stallion Performance Test a year later with 136.98 points. He clearly dominated the dressage index with 141.73 points.
Franzesca herself is a little ballerina, as well. Her gaits are big and floating with lots of elasticity. She is naturally uphill, always light on the bit, easy to sit and just a pleasure to ride. In addition to this, she has got the sweetest temperament with her curiousity and friendlieness towards everyone. A total sweetheart with an extremely positive attitude. A real eye catcher and a highly promising dressage prospect!
Franzesca is entered in the Hanoverian studbook and in March produced Dancier's Dream, a beautiful filly from the Hanoverian state stud stallion Dancier.
About the sire of the foal, Dancier's Dream:
Dancier, authoritative winner of his performance test and stallion licensing, was also proclaimed Best Hanoverian Stallion of 2002. A son of the top class dressage progenitor, De Niro, this noble, attractive black stallion appears on the way to his own excellence as a sire. Damsire Lancier is by the venerable Laurie's Crusador xx, Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2006, a rare honor for a Thoroughbred stallion. Dancier was awarded the perfect score of 10 for his walk, 9.5 for his canter and 9.2 for his walk. As a four year old he placed third in the Bundeschampionat. He is noted for his exceptional temperament and good ability to work from behind.
