Alonso is a talented, sweet tempered, uncomplicated gentlman.  His smooth gaits and outstanding jumping ability will allow him to succesfully advance in the show ring.  Alonso is a noble hunter prospect descending from prestigious Hanoverian bloodlines (As di Vilagana and Skyline).  He presents a consistently pleasing attitude to work and a skillful jumping technique.  He is extremely rideable, reliable, and easy to handle.  Alonso is a quick learner and eager to please.  Alonso's good natured attitude and boyish charm make him a barn favorite.  He place well at Arbutus Meadows in August, winning five seconds and placing well in several other events.

Alonso's sire, As Di Villagana, is one of Germany's top stallions, was purchased by U.S. investors and has been competing--and winning--at the Grand Prix level in the U.S. He was the 2006 Champion Jumper for the American Hanoverian Society and was for sale at $1.4 million U.S.!
